Quality supervision in your niche area can help launch your fulfilling and lucrative career in the mental health world. Clinical supervision is a cornerstone of effective counseling practice and provides you with an opportunity to work with a seasoned therapist who is invested in your journey.

What We Offer

Supervision with Sara or Teresa is currently offered to Ohio LPC and MFT therapists who are seeking independent licensure, as well as those who are seeking their supervisor endorsement. Individual and/or triadic sessions can be scheduled in-person or via video conferencing based on agreement. All supervision will be delivered in accordance with best practices, current ethical and professional standards (set forth by the current American Counseling Association Code of Ethics), and laws and rules (set forth by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board).

An Investment

The investment in supervision is both personal and relational. Personally, you owe it to yourself to learn and grow with a supervisor who is a good match for you.

Relationally, you are dedicating time and efforts to expand knowledge, skills, and awareness in your various roles – for example, as a supervisee, a therapist, and mental health advocate. With ongoing feedback and evaluation, each of your roles will be enhanced.

In addition, you are making networking connections that will benefit your career moving forward..

Fees & Consultation

Supervision fees are dependent on several factors. Generally, for individual supervision fees range from $100-$150 per hour.

The supervisor/supervisee relationship is a very important relationship during your clinical growth. We want to ensure that we are a good relational fit as well as being able to meet your specific clinical needs. Please reach out for a free consultation to determine supervision needs, relational fit and pricing.

Please note: Teresa and Sara do not supervise provisionally licensed clinicians who are working as a solo practitioner.

Business Consultation

Teresa and Sara provide a variety support to mental health professionals. We commit to provide an ethical, open, confidential, trauma-informed and affirming space for clinicians.  Our expertise and experiences in the field empowers us to empower you on your clinical and professional journey.

EMDRIA Approved Consultation

Individual and group consultation is available for EMDR-trained therapists who have completed Basic Training in EMDR therapy and are:

  • Working towards EMDR certification through EMDRIA
  • Looking to integrate EMDR Intensives into their practice
  • Learning to use EMDR with new specialty populations
  • Feeling stuck and seeking feedback on complex cases
  • Looking to refresh your perspective and increase confidence in your skills as an EMDR therapist

EMDR Consultation is provided remotely through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. In-person EMDR consultation may be available to clinicians local to our offices in Canton, OH and Mayfield Village, OH

Cost: $75 per hour individual & $35 per hour group

Business Consultation for Mental Health Professionals

Individualized private practice consultation for Ohio therapists seeking education, guidance, and encouragement on:

  • Starting a private therapy practice in Ohio (virtual or in-person)
  • Expanding a private therapy practice in Ohio (virtual or in-person)
  • Understanding the legal/ethical implications of being, or hiring, Contractors vs. Employees
  • Mindset work and goal development
  • Professional development around setting fees, maintaining boundaries, and an abundance mindset
  • Developing practice policies
  • Applying to insurance panels
  • Understanding insurance contracts, policies, and rates
  • Understanding client benefits, deductibles, and copays

Clinical Consultation

Being an independently licensed clinician doesn't mean that you have to exist alone! We are here for you for on going or even one-off/as needed consultation. Individual consultation is available to those who:

  • Excited about specializing in complex trauma
  • Needing support and clarity related to gender affirming care and the ever changing legal landscape
  • Interested in the neurobiology of stress and polyvagal theory
  • Interested in expanding their knowledge of trauma-informed care
  • Practicing at a community mental health agency or private practice setting and feeling isolated
  • Experiencing legal and ethical concerns in the workplace
  • Working as a lone counselor or MFT in a sea of other providers
  • Looking for another safe person to discuss supervision concerns
  • Experiencing secondary trauma and burnout in their careers
  • Needing a space to bounce off couples & family cases as a MFT or LPC

Clinical Education

We provide workshops and training for clinicians looking to gain a greater understanding of the field. Teresa and Sara will work with you to meet your career goals and to help you pursue a continued education on the subjects that matter most to you.

Professional Workshops & Training

Next October offers professional workshops and seminars to mental health providers looking for ways to gain continued education. We can provide CEUs approved by the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board for counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists (pending specific Board approval). Investing in continuing education programs like the ones we feature below can contribute to:

  • Enhanced knowledge and skills
